Amway could be called the Grand Daddy of all Network Marketing companies having been established more than 50 years ago. They have enjoyed a chequered career as accompany that is loved by some and hated by others. Amway was the first to turn running a business into something almost religious but no one can argue with their success.
As in all networks, there are success stories in abundance along with the hard luck stories of those who failed. Amway is possibly the first name that comes to mind when the subject of Multi-Level-Marketing is mentioned. The company is based on a wide variety of products including Health and Wellness, Beauty, Bath and Body and For the Home.
The network of Independent Business Owners (IBOs) is pretty extensive and some have been such for many years. Unlike some other networks, Amway has stood the test of time which is often a big selling point for those seeking a new business opportunity. Buying and selling product is probably the downside that turns many away.
Amway refer to themselves as a low-cost, low-risk business model based on the selling of product. The more you sell in volume, the higher your percentage of profit ranging from 3% to 25%. If you are happy to earn commissions on sales, that may be all you need to know. However, if you are a business builder, you will be more interested in sponsoring others in order to increase the volume of product sold in your organization. Amway is probably here to stay!
